With more than 20 years of nursing experience, Nurse Amy has guided families through some of the most important and emotional decisions surrounding aging. Her work spans primary care, emergency medicine, surgery centers, hospice, and aging care management — giving her a deep understanding of both the medical and day-to-day challenges older adults face.
Since 2016, Nurse Amy has helped grow Coastal Care Partners into one of the Southeast's most trusted aging-care organizations. What began as a small, mission-driven effort has become a leading provider that has supported thousands of families through the challenges of aging.
Under her guidance, Coastal Care Partners has expanded to include Home Care, Nurse Care Management, Hybrid House Calls, Concierge Medical Services, and more — offering families a reliable, compassionate place to turn when they need clarity and support.
Nurse Amy is a Certified Aging Life Care Professional and a credentialed care manager with the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (CMC) — distinctions earned by top experts in aging and senior care.
With more than 20 years of nursing experience across primary care, emergency medicine, surgery centers, and hospice, she brings deep clinical insight to every family she supports. Her expertise includes safety and fall-risk assessments, memory and cognitive changes, medication concerns, care planning, and guiding families through difficult decisions with clarity and compassion.
Amy has been recognized as one of Savannah’s “Best Nurses” by multiple organizations, and Coastal Care Partners — the company she co-founded — has been voted Best Home Healthcare Provider in Savannah for four consecutive years. Amy is also the creator of a skin care product designed specifically to help prevent painful and dangerous skin tears in older adults called Skin Tear Defense.
Scott brings a steady, practical leadership perspective to Aging Care Business Guidance. As co-owner of Coastal Care Partners, he has played a key role in building the operational structure, systems, and leadership processes that allow the business to grow while continuing to deliver exceptional care.
With a focus on sustainability, Scott helps aging care business owners step out of constant firefighting and into thoughtful leadership. His work centers on strengthening internal systems, clarifying roles, supporting teams, and creating businesses that don’t rely entirely on the owner to function day to day.
Scott understands the unique pressures of aging care—balancing high-touch client needs, staffing challenges, and financial realities—because he has lived them. His guidance is grounded in real experience, helping owners build clarity, stability, and long-term viability without sacrificing the heart of their work or their life outside the business.
Together, Amy and Scott offer a balanced approach to business guidance—combining deep clinical understanding with operational strategy—so aging care business owners can grow with confidence, intention, and sustainability.

Amy and Scott have built a successful care organization themselves. Amy brings clinical expertise and calm leadership, while Scott brings operational clarity and systems for sustainable growth. Together, they help owners move out of daily firefighting and into confident leadership.
Skin tears are one of the most common and preventable injuries in older adults. After years of seeing how painful and disruptive these wounds can be, Amy created Skin Tear Defense — a soothing, protective cream designed specifically to strengthen vulnerable skin, reduce injury risk, and promote overall skin health.
• Older adults with fragile skin
• Individuals on blood thinners
• Seniors with bruising or frequent skin injuries
• Caregivers seeking preventive tools
